And then, is it 4:4:four blush [electronic mail protected] or is it not? I can't find whatsoever info... I would beloved to use it every bit monitor for photo editing etc. But it has to exist a expert quality and really sharp. Gaming is not an upshot, working and photo editing is. I have GTX960 GPU, so it should support HDMI ii.0 and should be able to drive information technology OK. I'm looking for a large 4K TV to use as monitor. I'thousand a spider web designer and occasional photographer and videographer, then I do a lot of graphic work and photo and video editing.

Ditto. Hard to find 4K that act as good monitors at this price range.

I have the 55" version and the input lag when connected to my PC is imperceptible when I set up it to 60Hz refresh rate. At 30 it sucks though.

If you research the 43" 43UG2500 information technology is a iv:2:two panel, I know this a 49" and could use a totally dissimilar panel, electronics, just the 43" is not 4:iv:4.

If this is a main/living room TV I wouldn't purchase either of them. The 55" though is non only improve information technology's much larger.

"Inexpensive TVs" similar this seem to be best for spare rooms, dens, bedrooms, kids' rooms/game rooms*, washrooms (?), etc.

*I'one thousand non so sure they're a good choice for gaming though. The problem with 4K screens like this and gaming is that 4K gaming is far too demanding in reality. PS4 Pro doesn't really take the ability and while Xbone X has more GPU power than an RX 580, it still has zip compared to a GTX 1070 or 1080 or RX Vega. Whatsoever money you save on a cheap display, you lot're gonna have to fork out a heck of a lot on the GPU to drive it.

I seriously doubt yous're going to get the colour accuracy and quality y'all'll need for this kind of work with this affair but you're welcome to effort it out, calibrate information technology, and encounter what you get. I hateful y'all tin ever only return it if it'southward not going to be suitable. I dubiousness many pros would carp with even trying though.

Ok, who puts a 49" Telly in their bathroom? Fess up now. So you can brush your teeth while looking in the mirror while watching the Idiot box in the mirrors reflection? :) :)

Do y'all accept this model or the last generation?
I believe the concluding was 49UF2500.

I would give my life to protect your right to say something really funking stupid.

Respect your OP's. They don't get paid to do this, and don't have to come up here to post their deals for yous. They can all just hoard their deals in silence, if y'all prefer?

Thanks OP.

To be articulate, this isn't a "SmartTV", meaning it would need a Roku or Chrome stick or AppleTV or whatever with AN Additional REMOTE in order to become a smart television, correct? The actress remote kills it for me (noy this bargain, in general) ... something small but important.

Lol information technology was rex of more of a joke based on both how cheap and disposable this seems for a ~fifty" 4K set and something someone else said in another thread recently forth the same lines.

In reality the Roku will exist much better than any other Smart Television set, which means the money you relieve on the cheaper Boob tube and and then spend on the Roku means y'all end up amend off in terms of "Smart Boob tube" functionality at least.

Even on higher end sets, I'd dear to salve $100-200 to skip the "Smart" crap and get the same TV due west/o information technology. Sadly, due to market forces this is merely not possible--whatsoever Tv set beyond the well-nigh basic, volition accept alleged smart features on it.

Correct, and to be clear, that means an actress remote to continue with all that actress functionality. Right?

Not for me.

There's a YouTube review or a 43" Haier 43UG2500 - that 1 is definitely not 4:4:4 and is conspicuously non suitable every bit a reckoner monitor. I suspect the 49" shouldn't be any unlike...

I couldn't find whatever of the 43" so i went with the 49". It depends on usage, so this goggle box is not really "clearly non suitable as a computer monitor." Many accept used it with no trouble. It is non the best for gaming, but it works. Information technology is amazing for anyone who is a programmer.
